Terms of Service
The terms on which companies and their users may use the contract lifecycle management service.
1. The Service
The Service is software for drafting, reviewing, approving, signing, tracking and searching contracts. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the company you represent.
2. Not legal advice
The Service is software. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. AI flags, explanations and suggested redlines are based on the playbook your company provides, and must be reviewed by a lawyer or an authorised person before they are relied on. Your company remains responsible for the contracts it signs.
3. Accounts
- You must give accurate signup information and keep login details confidential.
- Your company is responsible for the users it invites and the access it grants them.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your workspace.
4. Your content
Your company owns the contracts, templates and data it puts into the Service. You grant us a limited right to host, process and display that content only to provide the Service to you. We do not use it to train AI models for other customers.
5. Electronic signatures
The Service supports electronic signatures under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Some documents cannot be signed electronically or must be stamped. The Service flags common cases, but your company is responsible for choosing the correct method of execution and paying any stamp duty due.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to store content you have no right to store.
- Do not attempt to break, probe or overload the Service, or access other customers' data.
- Do not resell the Service or use it to build a competing product.
7. Trials, fees and billing
Trials last 14 days and do not convert to a paid plan automatically. Paid plans are billed per user, monthly or annually in advance, at the prices shown on the pricing page or in your order. Fees exclude applicable taxes.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, and provide support according to your plan. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where possible.
9. Term and termination
Either party may end a subscription at the end of a billing period. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms. After termination, your company can export its content for 30 days, after which it is deleted.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided as is, and our total liability arising from these terms is limited to the fees paid by your company in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made on the basis of AI suggestions without professional review.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
