    One approved version of every template

    Each template carries its version, owner and approval date. When Legal publishes v8 of the NDA, v7 stops being available for new drafts, and anything already in flight is flagged so nobody signs on old terms.

    Drafting by questionnaire

    Instead of editing a document, the requester answers a short set of questions: counterparty, term, value, jurisdiction, whether personal data is shared. Azenye assembles the right clauses and fills the fields, including party details pulled from your records.

  3. 1.3

    A clause library with fallback positions

    Store liability, indemnity, confidentiality, data protection, termination and governing law clauses with your preferred wording and the fallbacks you will accept. The same library powers the AI Clause Reviewer, so suggested redlines always use your own language.

    Guardrails on what can be edited

    Lock clauses that must never change, allow edits on commercial terms, and require Legal review for anything else. Every deviation from the template is tracked and shown to approvers.

    Templates for Indian contracts

    Offer letters with notice and probation terms, leave and licence agreements, vendor agreements with GST and TDS language and DPDP-ready data processing schedules. Start from your own versions or build them in the vault.

Q1Can we import the templates we already use?

Yes. Upload your Word templates and mark fields and optional clauses. Most teams bring in their core templates during the first week.

Q2Who can publish a new template version?

Only the people you name as template owners. Publishing is logged with the approver and date, and older versions stay viewable for reference.

Q3Can business teams draft without Legal?

For templates you mark as self-serve, yes. If they change anything outside the allowed fields, the draft routes to Legal automatically.
